V2 Import did not complete

Hi folks!

I was about 1/2 way thru the import process (about 7-8 min) when I was logged off for some reason.
I can log back in fine and do see some of my imported stuff but not all.
I did not know if I should rerun the import or if that would make things worse.

Hi,

The import process starts by removing all leagues and seasons that are already imported from v2 for your current import. So if you have no new interactions in your imported league on v3, there should be no impact if you wish to try the import again (It will delete what was already imported and try again).

We did see the errors go through and it seems you hit a "Request timed out" error or maybe your session timed out. You must have a pretty big league :)

Could you send us your league info and the exact parameters you selected for the v2 to v3 import so we can check it out in our dev env. ( SupportSGv3[AT]StatsGenie[DOT]com )

Okay, I will try the import again then. The league is pretty big and I've been using SG for several years now. We play 3 tournaments every other Saturday with a few breaks for holidays.

My league is KC MD Poker League1

I'll try to document the options used when I next try the import and give you a status update then.

Thanks for all the great support in the last few years! Looking forward to moving on to V3.

I did some testing with another huge league and I am having the exact same problem, seems the page times out before the league is done importing.

I will let you know what I find out.

Hi,

we corrected the timeout issue, you should now be able to import your league without errors.

Now just have to learn the system as well as I did V2.

I personally guarantee that the learning curve for v3 should be way less harsh then for v2.

Thanks for the guarantee Martin! I PROBABLY won't hold you to it... :)

I did just notice an issue concerning finances. I can see all my personal finances but I'm not finding any of the league's finances.
I'm looking at 'My Leagues' -> 'Grouping - My Leagues' -> 'Finances' -> 'Finances' but there are no records displayed.

Did something not convert over from V2 or am I missing something I need to configure?

Normally, the finances should have been imported with the rest of your league.

We will check this out after the Holidays.

Hi,

v3 Beta 13.14 just implemented just fix this. If you are still missing some finances, please try re-importing from v2 (it will only update v3 with missing v2 data).
