How about: Full Featured Simplicity??

Ok, we all know StatsGenie v2 wasn't the "upgrade" we wished for when we launched it initially a couple of years back. Trying to make it fully dynamic rendered it very powerful (for 5% of our user base), but at the same time complicated it like hell for all other users (95%).

More than a year back, our team started working on a very special "pilot" project to be linked with StatsGenie (Let's just call it "Project P" for the moment ). "Project P" needed a more "up to date" website and most of all, a more "user friendly" interface.

Thus came.... StatsGenie v3.....

September 2013 was the official launch of new v3 development alongside with "Project P" evolution that became more than just a "pilot" project.

Some of the major modifications of v3 include the following points:

• - New slick and up to date interface
  - No more Organization Levels, you want to add a league, add a league... you want to add a season... add a season! So back to the old "League / Season" format.
  - Security, invitations and virtual players got a whole lot easier
  - Introduction of new "Filters" to manage your stats by unique league or grouped leagues (Career stats emulation, division emulation etc...)
  - All admin options to manage your player and/or your leagues / seasons are regrouped under your account settings with easy to use menus and options...
  - All other stats and "user options" easily regrouped and accessible
  - many more improvements to come... stay tuned for more updates

Worry not, v3 will still have a very powerful interface, dynamic rankings, filters, invitations etc.... But we are always keeping in mind to keep everything as easy and intuitive as possible.

Hopefully, v3 Beta will be out some time summer 2014, as usual, your comments are more then welcome!

short term, v3 will not replace v2, so if you wish to continue using v2 you will be able to, but no more development is intended for v2.

Just a small update.

The following functions are pretty much ready for v3 beta:
- Registration
- Login
- Culture management
- My profile
- Player management (security, player merge, virtual players, player invitations to join a league, ask access to a league)
- League Management (Create, edit delete: Leagues, Seasons, Trophies management, finances management)
- Stats interface and filters
- Import from v2 (v1 with full overwrite).

Currently working on:
- Messaging system (e-mails, internal messages and forum)
- Rankings Management + tournament management
- Stats - Rankings
- Events Schedule

Since last update (2014-04-18), more than 700 hours of development went into SGv3.

The following items are pretty much ready for v3 Beta:
- Messaging system (e-mails, internal messages and forum)
- Poker agent (events schedule automation and email automation)
- Tournament management (tournament import + add/edit/delete)
- Tournament and player ratings (New in v3)
- Finances (added system player finances from imported tournaments, new in v3)
- Stats - Individual Stats (phase 1)
- Stats - Rankings (phase 1)

Currently working on:
- Stats - Individual Stats (phase 2 - new in v3 - WOW!!!)
- Stats - Rankings (phase 2)

Since last update (2014-08-26)

We are currently polishing out last little functions for a SGv3 Beta release very soon.

We are experiencing some delays with our new datacenter configuration, Beta release should be early to mid October.

Sorry for the additional delays, we can't wait to finally release the v3 Beta, but at this point have no choice to delay it a bit.

Hopefully the wait will be worth it!!

StatsGenie v3 Beta released today.

you can access the new version at the following link:

you can import your v2 leagues and seasons using the "Import data from StatsGenie v2" option under the "My Account" tab.

StatsGenie v3, will persist DATA over the next releases up to full release, so what you do in v3 BETA will not be lost.
